Mechanical Monitor
Mechanical blood pressure monitors don’t have any sort of automated element, and will require a stethoscope to read systolic and diastolic pressure. These types of blood pressure monitors feature a fabric cuff with a pressure valve on the side and a tube that leads to a manual air pump. To get a proper reading with a mechanical blood pressure monitor, a caretaker will have to inflate the cuff and record the pressure readings manually.
