Portex Heat and Moisture exchangers provide efficient heat and moisture recovery and exhibit low resistance to flow and high moisture output which helps to minimise the loss of heat and moisture in ventilated or spontaneously breathing patients. Portex offers a wide variety of products to include filters, breathing filters, filtered and non-filtered HME with or without a flex tube. All HMEs and filters have ISO standard tapered ends to assure a consistent leak-free seal. All Portex HMEs and filters are latex-free.

At Medical Supply Depot, we only sell new items that carry the original manufacturer’s warranty. The repair or replacement of defective merchandise will be based upon the warranty policy of the manufacturer. Medical Supply Depot will not be held liable if the manufacturer fails to perform warranty service.
Requests for replacement and/or repairs will be processed as quickly as possible. We will do our utmost to arrange replacement or repair of parts by the manufacturer.
It is at the discretion of the manufacturer as to whether a part will be replaced or repaired. If the manufacturer requests the return of the defective item, a shipping label will be supplied. It is the responsibility of the customer to ship the item back as soon as the shipping label is received.
