Description
The Mallinckrodt Phonate Speaking Valve is trach speaking valve. It is designed to awake tracheostomy patients who can breathe without assisted mechanical ventilation. It directs airflow past the vocal chords to facilitate speech. It permits easier vocalization without finger occlusion that may cause hygiene and infection concerns. It is available without oxygen port.
SHSSV is a replacement for MALSSV.

The repair or replacement of defective merchandise will be based upon the warranty policy of the manufacturer. Requests for replacement and/or repairs will be processed as quickly as possible. We will do our utmost to arrange replacement or repair of parts by the manufacturer.
It is at the discretion of the manufacturer as to whether a part will be replaced or repaired. If the manufacturer requests the return of the defective item, a shipping label will be supplied. It is the responsibility of the customer to ship the item back as soon as the shipping label is received.
